As CEO of a rapidly growing business, it was important to me that the pace of our top line growth not outstrip the company’s organizational structure and my ability to manage it.  As such, I sought guidance in identifying ways to prepare myself, my managers and my organization for this growth, as well as enhance our ability to capitalize on the growth opportunities that arose.

As a result of working with Ted, both I and by extension, my organization have enjoyed marked improvements.  I not only feel more in control of a rapidly growing business, but I also am more effective as a leader.

My original goals in working with Ted were to improve my organization, by improving my ability to lead and manage my company. I have been skeptical of consultants and was very upfront with Ted in my feelings. However, in working with him, I have seen marked improvements in what I believe were already strong leadership and management skills. We have taken fresh approaches to old and recurring problems and achieved what appear to be promising results.

In the year that I have been working with him, he has exceeded my expectations on many levels.  He has functioned as a trusted advisor to help me rapidly uncover solutions that would have taken me much longer with my existing resources.  In addition, he has served me like an outsourced Chief Innovation Officer.  He has helped identify and exploit new opportunities that will allow my organization to penetrate untapped markets, drive new revenue streams, as well as position my organization as a market leader.  Moreover, he has been my unyielding partner in building internal structures to support and sustain new growth.

On a personal note, my time with Ted has served to help me identify blind spots, which impact my reaction and therefore the outcomes of critical issues. In addition, and perhaps most importantly, he has helped me to drive these skills down through the rest of my management team. This recognition has made me a better leader and manager and has served to definitively improve my organization.
