In a turbulent economy, executives need diverse management skills and strategies to drive top line growth. To discuss the diversity of skills and strategies, this CEO roundtable will provide a knowledge transfer by accomplished CEOs and board members. The focus will be driving top line through organic growth or M&A activity.

You are cordially invited to a Roundtable discussion with a selective group of Chief Executive Officers – $100-$500 million in revenues. The topic will be: The Role of Management in Driving Short-Term Top Line Growth in a Deep Recession. The focus will be driving top line through organic or strategic growth – M&A activity.

Because this event will be led by a group of panelist who are retired CEOs and sitting board members, it will serve as a knowledge transfer regarding one of the singular issues facing all corporate leaders today: Top line.

In addition to retired CEOs, one of the panelists will be a principle partner from one of the nations leading accounting firms – J.H. Cohn LLP. The panelist will share business intelligence, their experience, skills and competencies for effectively leading an organization in and out of an unstable economy.

Distinguished Panelists and Corresponding Biographies

Mr. Steve Rice, currently presiding director of Allegheny Energy, a New York Stock Exchange listed corporation. Throughout Mr. Rice’s career, he has served as President and or CEO of several banks. Most recently, he was President of LaJolla (California) Bank, Northeast Region. In addition, he served as CEO, President and Director of the Stamford (Connecticut) Federal Savings Bank. He is also the former President and COO of Seaman’s Bank for Savings.

Mr. David Rubin, principal, is the leader of the Firm’s Performance Consulting practice. He has been consulting on organizational issues for over 20 years. To date, he has worked with over 500 client companies and has been responsible for a broad range of assignments. Prior to joining the Firm in 2003, David worked for Don Aux Associates, an organizational management-consulting firm. David joined Don Aux as a staff consultant and was named president of the firm in 1998.

Mr. Joe Anderson is the CEO of Tag Holdings which has the strategy of owning and controlling a diverse range of manufacturing and service related industries. He currently serves on the board of directors for five publicly traded companies: Quaker Chemical Corporation, ArvinMeritor, Inc, Sierra Pacific Resources, Rite Aid Corporation and Valassis. In the past, he was the CEO of Composite Energy Management Systems. Later, he took a controlling interest in Chivas Industries where he served as CEO and Chairman until he sold it to Continental Plastics.
